In the Beginning

I'm not sure I have a particular anything to say. I suppose I could start by saying there are about ten other things I should be doing right now.

And I suppose this particular update will be one of the paradoxical things that talks about the ridiculousness of a certain thing (i.e. my college essay entitled How Two Hundred Words Could Never Sum Anyone Up, Especially Me).

Blogs tend to be used by couples, new couples beginning their lives together using the blog as an easy way to update friends and family. A few other blogs happen to be special interest blogs, updating people on their findings concerning certain things. One blog I happen to know is the update of a girl newly moved into the LA area from a small town in "buttcrack" Arizona. (http://www.calisejones.blogspot.com/)

Do I fit into any of these categories?

I say nay.

This blog will probably end up being a mishmosh of many different topics; a few movie reviews, a few update posts, a few special issue articles... Who knows?

This issue throws into shock ("that which I have not yet achieved; the marriage to a fine woman...") the issue of how remarkably boring my life must be; I'm not running -- like that'd even be interesting to read about -- , I don't like much of the music we're doing in Camerata and we're not going anywhere, school's a boring blob of boring, and love life -- well, a blog just isn't the place for that sort of thing.

I suppose that I could introduce myself.

-Relatively Friendly
-Obsessed with Seven Brides For Seven Brothers
-Superbe with the French
-Quoting movies more than ever
-Never doing my homework
-Listening to a scripture master rock CD that some would consider stupid
-"Reading" Moby Dick
-Enjoying new music along with all the "golden oldies"
-Leaning more towards the piano than guitar
-Missing all sorts of people
-TAing for the one teacher who makes her TAs do stuff
-Considerably tall
-A second soprano, stuck singing "first" because we're only doing four part
-Possibly not passing my history class
-Trying to be random

I can't think of much else.
